Classes:Company Performance Team | Contemporary 1 & 2 | Tumbling 1 & 2 | Creative Movement
Growing up, Janysha was a competitive gymnast. In order to increase her difficulty in artistic elements, she began taking Ballet classes. This sparked an enormous passion for dance and within two years, she was taking Pointe Classes. She attended Natomas Charter School from grades 6-12 and was on the Blackrock Dance Company in high school. Altogether, she has been dancing for about 14 years!
Janysha's been exposed to different types of dances from Contemporary to Jazz, but her favorite is Modern Dance. She feels that Modern Dance lets her embrace and celebrate athleticism as well as her heritage.
She joined Kids Dance & Fitness years ago when it was Studio 18. She loves it here because it's a community of dancers with a passion for dance. She loves the fact that the studio honors students individually & collectively as well as their unique strengths and dance style interests. Janysha sees her students as her inspiration as it brings her joy watching them blossom into beautiful dancers and individuals.
Her message to all dancers is to dance like nobody's watching -- with that mindset, you can do no wrong!

Arianna Romero
Classes: Ballet 1 & 2

She started dancing at 2 1/2 years old and started competing at 5 years old. Arianna is currently the studio's ballet dance instructor focusing on technique, consistency & fun!
Her favorite type of dance is Lyrical/Contemporary because she can show her many different emotions through her movements. She was introduced to Kids Dance & Fitness by Zenzele Wade and met a couple of dancers at the California State University, Sacramento Fall Clinic. She loves teaching children in general, but most especially in dance as she wants to contribute to molding of the next generation of dancers.
In her spare time, you may find her camping, fishing or wakeboarding with the Sac State Wakeboard Team.
Her message to her ballet dancers is "to be confident in your dance moves & go after your biggest dreams with your best foot (pointed toe) forward!"
Malia Murray
Classes: Creative Movement | Tumbling/Jazz
Malia was a competitive gymnast for 5 years and one day, witnessed the raw emotion in a performance she saw and fell in love with dance! She has been dancing for 6 years and was a member of the Company Performance Team.
Her favorite type of dance is Contemporary. She has danced at Kids Dance & Fitness since she was 10 and while growing up in the studio, discovered a new-found passion for teaching -- most especially for our tiny dancers!
What inspired Malia to teach the art of dance was her passion for it and her desire to express the importance of having something you can connect to -- an important element in dance.
Her other hobbies consist of hanging out with friends and family.
Her message to her dance students is to know that even dance is for you -- no one else. You need to be the one to feel the movement and continue to absorb everything you can about the art form.
Andrew Floresca

Having relatives being members of the dance group "Boogie Monsters", Andrew clearly has dance in his DNA. His favorite type of dance is Hip-Hop. He is motivated by dance because it allows him to express himself and just control his emotions. He likes how dance is just FUN.
He was brought on by a fellow teacher to Kids Dance & Fitness and is a current member of Raw Legacy Dance, a local dance group. In his spare time, he has been participated in musical and acting gigs, but most of all, dance seminars/lessons.
His message to his dance students is to know that "dreams don't work unless you do."
Bria Clemmons

A former cheerleader who sustained tumbling injuries, Bria was looking for a different outlet which still allowed her to move. Her search eventually led her to dance. She has been dancing for over 2 1/2 years and her favorite type of dance is Hip-Hop.
She was brought on to Kids Dance & Fitness by fellow dance instructor/choreographer, Zenzele Wade and is inspired to teach dance with the kids she works with in her career. Seeing kids be in their element, working hard and performing with passion is a rewarding experience for her.
Her message to her dance students is "to never stop believing in yourself. Always believe in yourself no matter what discouragement comes your way, take the risk. It's worth it."
