April has had the pleasure of teaching dance since she was 13 years old. After dancing and cheering in college, she moved to Los Angeles to dance for the Laker Girls. Soon after, she had a tremendous opportunity of dancing for, then choreographing, and finally, directing the Sacramento Kings Dance Team for many years. Through that time, she was also a choreographer for many NBA & NFL Dance Teams. She always has had a love for living a healthy lifestyle and has competed in & won in numerous fitness competitions.
April, with her three girls (who are all dancers), feels very lucky & fortunate to share her passion for dance by successfully operating her own dance studio for more than 15+ years. With ebbs & flows in the dance world, she has learned that "no one can close a door that God has opened for you." Knowing that this is her calling, she loves to teach dance while staying positive, motivated & believing she can inspire every little dancer that comes into her studio.
